"I first found out about WellStrong while at Gosnold and in SOAP. It was mentioned a few times about meetings and yoga classes. I did pick up a sheet of monthly activities at WellStrong. What inspired me was the location and being in Falmouth. Also, what drew me toward the center/community was the physical activity classes and to help with working out and movement through barre classes with combinations of Pilates, yoga, and ballet. Total fitness class and strength classes all gave me an opportunity for physical movement. Pickleball is also a new change of sport that I really started to enjoy. It’s a great new sober community and you feel like everyone is family and cares about you."

“Feeling a part of WellStrong led me to push my body and sign up for a triathlon, which I never would have done [otherwise]… The bonds at WellStrong gave me the courage to try something physically that I never would have done."

“My light was completely burnt out and I was so desperate for peace. At the PHP treatment program I attended, in an attempt to get sober, gave us the opportunity to go to WellStrong daily. This ritual of going to the gym became the highlight of my day. I instantly became connected with the mission and the people at Wellstrong and began to take back my life!”

“WellStrong is a safe haven. It’s a place I get to go to and just be myself-completely and still feel welcomed and even celebrated. I have grown so much as a person because of WellStrong, not just physically stronger, emotionally and spiritually stronger as well. The friendships I’ve created here I cherish and I love the daily recovery inspiration I gain when I come here for the wonderful fitness classes as well as the recovery meetings held here at night. WellStrong is a blessing, I am so grateful to be a part of it.”
